Find Your Way to a Dancing Bears Event
The following maps show the location of venues used for most of Dancing Bears events.
Romig Middle School
is next to West High School on Minnesota Drive.
Wendler Middle School
is on Lake Otis between 36th and Northern Lights Blvd.
This location is most often used for Friday evening contra dances.
Square and Round Dance Center
is at 432 East Harvard Ave. on Government Hill.
From 3rd Avenue, proceed North across the A street bridge onto Government Hill. Turn left at the light (Tesoro station) onto Erickson St. "Bear" left at the first "Y" on Harvard Ave, then immediately left into the parking lot for the Center.
Location for Tuesday lessons and some Fri or Sat dances.
Conoco Phillips Atrium
is at 700 G street in downtown Anchorage.
This is the venue for the annual December Winter Wonderland Ball.
